My name is Laura Sánchez Ríos, and I am a sworn translator for Spanish and German, officially appointed by the Regional Court of Berlin (Landgericht Berlin) and by the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation. I graduated in Translation and Interlinguistic Mediation from the University of Valencia in June 2015 and completed a Master’s degree in Translation Studies at Heidelberg University in 2018.
For all my translation jobs, I offer solutions taking into account the purpose of the text, paying special attention to terminology, the discursive practices of each language and the knowledge of the target reader. In order to provide the highest quality in my translations, I constantly develop my linguistic, cultural and technical skills attending training courses. In line with this desire for improvement, I am a member of the Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators (BDÜ).
