General and specialised translation
My name is Laura Sánchez Ríos and I am officially appointed and sworn translator of documents for the Spanish and German language by the Freiburg Regional Court and the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Translation and Interlinguistic Mediation (University of Valencia) and a Master’s degree in Translation (Heidelberg University).
For all my translation jobs, I offer solutions taking into account the purpose of the text, paying special attention to terminology, the discursive practices of each language and the knowledge of the target reader. In order to provide the highest quality in my translations, I constantly develop my linguistic, cultural and technical skills attending training courses. In line with this desire for improvement, I am a member of the Federal Association of Interpreters and Translators (BDÜ).
